Recognition Night

Every year the Faith In God girls have a recognition night. This was Raeleigh's first recognition in the program. She has learned so much and enjoys being with her friends every other week.
Raeleigh chose to bring her artwork & Honor Roll Certificate as well as the stuffed dog she is making - to put on her display table.
Sister Crone, Raeleigh's leader, gave each of the girls a carnation.

Tummy Time :(

Addison does not like tummy time, unless someone is there to play with her. Thank heavens for big sisters.

Sisters!

On Dec 31, 2009 Craig asked me to come downstairs. When I walked into the living he pointed to Raeleigh sleeping and said "Who does that look like?" Addison was the answer. Raeleigh was sleeping in the same position that Addison often took in the hospital!
After making this post, we found Patrick asleep with his finger on his face as well!!

Pretty Baby

Addison the best Christmas present! Such a cutie on Christmas Day and always.

Addison's Blessing

Our beautiful baby girl was given and name and a blessing on Dec. 13, 2009. She looked so pretty. Addison wore the same dress as the rest of her sisters wore on their blessing days. The dress was made by her Grandma Crane. Grandma Smith bought Addison a bonnet and socks & shoes for the special day.

Craig and I were glad to have both of our parents there to support our family. It was a nice day.

Adoring Looks

Brotherly love! Jordan adores his baby sister. He loves that he gets time with her by himself after everyone else leaves for school. Jordan is great with Addison.

Grandma's Christmas Ornaments

Each year for Christmas, my Mom gives the grandchildren an ornament for the tree. This year for our kids, she gave them a Ronald McDonald House Carribeaner that she tied a christmas ribbon on. This was a special ornament for our family because of the time we spent there when Addison was in the NICU.

I am so glad my mom carried this tradition on from her mother.

I had to include this picture as well. Because the kids were so excited to have Grandma read to them. Raeleigh, Grandma, Stuart

Morgan a Lady Pirate Weightlifter!

Morgan joined the girls weightlifting team this year. She is loving the challenge, learning to make better food choices and experiencing the positive effects of exercise.
Good Job Morgan and keep working hard!

Six Weeks Old

Our beautiful healthy baby. While in NICU I wondered if I would ever be able to say that Addison is a healthy baby. So grateful that Addison is healthy!

Doctor Shelia Dawn Henderson delivered Addison. I am grateful for her quick, clear thinking to save Addison during her tramatic birth. Dr Henderson was an aide to Heavenly Father in our miracle baby!

Stuart Reading to Addison

Stuart has to read everyday for homework. This is a difficult task for him. He has a learning disability that makes reading difficult. So he often reads to his stuffed animals. He was so excited to have his baby sister read to. Priceless. Dec 9, 2009

Cute Stocking Stuffer

I couldn't resist putting Addison in this stocking. I love the little Santa Hat as well. She is a sweet little stocking stuffer!

Decorating for Christmas

Okay all these sideways pictures are driving me crazy! But I can't figure out how to fix them, I have tried several times. Sorry about this.

Stuart put the tree together this year. (Dec 6, 2009) He also put the lights on the tree.

Patrick was helpful, by holding Addison. Notice they are both asleep in this picture. Cute.

Our finished tree!

Addison's pink baby christmas ornament.
The kids had a great time decorating for Christmas! Decorations always help me to get me more excited for Christmas as well.

Addison & Snowmen

The snowmen are taller than Addison! (Dec 6, 2009)

When we laid Addison down we lined her feet up with the bottom of the snowmen. Of course I had to snap the picture.

Raising the Flag

At the last football game (Dec. 4, 2009) Samantha helped to raise the flag. In the picture, she has her back turned to us and is helping with the American flag.
Her ROTC captian has complimented her many times to me.
